AWARDS-BA³ integrates with a range of financial accounting systems. The Accounts Interface Module is the communication link between the AWARDS-BA³ system and the accounting system. This interface ensures all relevant transactions are posted correctly from system to system.
The Accounts Interface Module allows for the setup of the required nominal interface and posting control details, account documents, currency codes and VAT codes. An Accounts Interface Web Service transmits all relevant transactions to the accounting system.
The System Settings Module is where the AWARDS-BA³ system configuration is completed. This setup covers everything from the creation of multi-company and multi-depot environments. System users and user roles can be created as needed. Additionally, any batch service jobs, period control and web-service details can be set up.
The AWARDS-BA³ Business Process Designer allows for the customisation of key business processes. These changes may be needed to cater for KPI recording, changing business requirements and issue resolution.
Order Switching allows for the picking of sales orders to be switched into another company or depot. Switching may be required depending on certain criteria.
The Central Ordering capability allows you to centralise the buying patterns of your customers. This ensures that you are their first port of call. Sales orders are placed centrally with you. Where products are out of stock, a matrix exists to offload these products to a designated chain of suppliers. This encourages your customers to consistently buy from you. They know that regardless of whether you stock a product, you will always source their orders for them.
Additionally, a Central Ordering model encourages you to stock only those products that generate a high margin. The product range being stocked within a warehouse can be reduced. This way, you only stock those products that generate the greatest return for you.
AWARDS-BA³ allows for complete product traceability throughout the system. From purchase, receipt and putaway, through to sale, pick, invoice and even customer return, full traceability is available.
Products can be returned quickly and easily. Key details recorded include product, batch number, receipt date, expiry date, and return date. These details are critical in the event of a product recall.
Cyclical Stock Counting
Stock counting, while necessary, is often a time-consuming and resource-intensive exercise. The Cyclical Stock Counting Module provides you with the ability to cycle count product. Cycle counting uses ABC definitions to count product cyclically in a warehouse.
Depending on your product range, you may wish to count your high-value product more frequently than the rest of your product profile. Additionally, any stock counting must make the most efficient use of your resources.
Cycle counting results in more efficient stock counting procedures. It leads to increased stock accuracy, less downtime and better resource usage throughout the warehouse.
Data and the availability of information is becoming more and more critical to all industries. The AWARDS-BA³ Data Services Module can import, process, store, transmit and render data in many ways.
This data is processed safely, securely and efficiently to allow the system to function at its best. Data mappings, lookups and imports allow system administrators, end users and business analysts to access, update and share information when needed.
Product delivery of the right product, to the right people, at the right time, is critical in today's customer service-oriented markets. The Delivery Management Module provides you with the ability to co-ordinate product delivery. You can create both static and dynamic delivery routes, to ensure fast and efficient order delivery to customers.
Multiple delivery routes may be set up with each customer assigned to the most efficient routes. Routes can be set up per picking waves within the warehouse. This allows for order consolidation and release of these waves as required. Delivery routes may also be linked to specific loading bays. These options allow you to streamline and maximise warehouse efficiency during the goods out process.
Gone are the days where documents needed to be preformatted before information could be printed on them. The AWARDS-BA³ Document Management Module allows for the customisation of all documentation. This system caters for any number of document formats, printers and scenarios that may be required.
The Report Designer allows you to create unique document layouts. Customisation of data, formatting and legal requirements is available. Integration with the Business Process Designer ensures that you have the correct documentation, in the correct format, whenever you may need it. Distribution of PDF copies of documentation via email is also available.
The Entrepreneur Module allows for different methods of order receipt, transmission and response. With today's technological advancements, orders may be placed by your customers in many formats.
AWARDS-BA³ ensures that these orders are received via the appropriate format/protocol. These orders are then processed, picked and delivered as soon as possible.
The Purchase Invoice Reconciliation Module allows you to reconcile documents in the system. Supplier invoices can be matched with goods receipt notes. Supplier credits can be matched with supplier returns.
The Invoice Reconciliation Module also includes user approval capabilities. Additionally, matching difference reasons, linked to nominal interface records can be set up. These can be recorded against any differences discovered during the matching process. This ensures that the correct details are posted to the accounting system, via the accounts interface.
Ensuring you have the correct on order and in stock quantities in your warehouse is a complex challenge. The Purchase Ordering Module allows for the creation of all supplier details in the system.
Demand planning forecasts and purchase formula can be created and tested. These purchase formulae forecast your future purchasing requirements, based on your criteria.
Buy seasons can be set up. Additionally, automatic ordering allows for automatic purchasing from key suppliers using regular order patterns.

The sales quotation functionality allows for quotations to be generated in the system. Upon agreement, they can be converted into sales orders quickly and easily. Quote approval options also exist within the system. Additionally, quote cancellation, for various reasons, can also be carried out. All of the above comes with complete auditing of activity throughout the system.
The Sales Ordering Module includes a range of options. These include the creation of customer details and customer groups. Various sales discounts and sales contracts can be set up. Additionally, call schedules and proactive selling can offer up-selling opportunities during sales order processing.
Complex pricing requirements and customer-specific pricing are handled simply and effectively. Controlled access to margin negotiation is available. This can be accessed by users with the appropriate access, ensuring that profitability is protected at all times.
Order consolidation options for waved picking are available. Cleaned invoices are generated, printed and may be emailed as required. Additional features include sales rebates and backorder creation and fulfilment. Customisation of the sales order entry screen, per user role, ensures sales reps can process orders as efficiently as possible.

For each product, the AWARDS-BA³ system stores the produced date, receipt date, expiry date and batch details. Every movement of a product through a warehouse is recorded, with the associated movement reason and user. Full audit trails and stock visibility provides the necessary information for better decision-making.
The Stock Count Module provides you with the ability to count your stock as often as required. Stock counting in AWARDS-BA³ allows for customised stock count creation. The benefits include variance recording, audit trails, increased stock accuracy and greater visibility and efficiency in stock control.
The AWARDS-BA³ Visualisations Module provides you with the ability to create detailed dashboards.
These dashboards record all the necessary data and KPIs for regular review and action. These dashboards are user or role-based, ensuring that only designated individuals have access to these KPIs.
AWARDS-BA³ supports all standard warehouse management capabilities. These include putaway, dynamic storage, picking, replenishment and warehouse automation. The putaway capability, using RFID scanners, ensures greater accuracy of current stock levels.
The dynamic storage feature keeps a record of the storage capacity of each storage location. This ensures optimum usage of space throughout a warehouse. The Web Configuration Module provides an online portal that integrates with the AWARDS-BA³ system. The website application is a responsive e-commerce site. Features include online ordering using live product stock figures, imagery, pricing, active sales discounts and contracts and account details for customers.
Both B2B and B2C customers can access the site and browse for products using the powerful search engine. Users can place orders and generate and process all documentation automatically. Role-based access can be provided to B2B users ensuring only the relevant details are available to them.
A Supplier Portal is also available enabling user and role-based access to supplier information. Supplier data includes outstanding purchase orders, GRNs, products by supplier, product stock levels, and product batch details. A delivery schedule also exists allowing for co-ordination of deliveries with key suppliers.
