Abigail Kenny has been appointed as HubSpot’s new director of sales strategy and operations, marking an exciting leadership addition to the global customer platform company. Kenny, who previously served as global head of strategy and analytics at Stripe, brings extensive experience in business planning, operations, and analytics.

Her impressive career includes key roles at Meta, where she was the director of business planning and operations, and Microsoft, where she worked as a senior operations programme manager.

HubSpot Strengthens Leadership with Kenny’s Appointment

Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, HubSpot was founded in 2006 by Dharmesh Shah and Brian Halligan. The company’s European office, based in Dublin, plays a crucial role in its international growth.

Kenny took to LinkedIn to share her excitement about her new role, highlighting her commitment to building a world-class team at HubSpot. She also announced that analyst positions will be opening soon, presenting opportunities for new talent to join the company.

“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined HubSpot as director of sales strategy and operations. From my initial conversations with Brett Hogan, Mark Barry, and Eimear Marrinan, it was clear that this was an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up,” Kenny wrote.

She added, “HubSpot’s incredible growth, inspiring mission, and top-tier team make this an exciting new chapter. I can’t wait to contribute to the company’s continued success.”

A Proven Track Record in Strategy & Analytics

Before joining HubSpot, Kenny spent three years at Stripe, where she led a high-performing strategy and analytics team. Under her leadership, the team made a significant impact, contributing tens of millions to the bottom line and driving hundreds of millions in revenue.

Her extensive experience in scaling operations and optimising sales strategies makes her a valuable addition to HubSpot as the company continues its rapid expansion.

HubSpot’s Vision for Growth in Europe

HubSpot has consistently expressed confidence in Ireland as a major technology hub, with co-founder Brian Halligan previously describing the country as a strong contender to become the “Silicon Valley of Europe”. The company remains committed to expanding its presence in Dublin, tapping into the region’s growing startup ecosystem and enterprise sector.

With Kenny now leading sales strategy and operations, HubSpot is set to strengthen its market position while continuing to attract top talent in the tech space.

    Final Thoughts

As Abigail Kenny joins HubSpot, her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global sales operations. With a strong background in strategy, analytics, and business planning, she is well-positioned to drive growth and innovation at HubSpot.

For those looking to join a fast-growing company, HubSpot’s upcoming analyst roles present an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class team.
